Examples:
Phone call that sounds too good to be true, like winning a lump sum of money however the caller needs your bank information. The caller states your relative is under arrest and needs bail money. "Windows" calling requesting remote access to your computer.
Pop-ups stating you won a fabulous prize. Emails stating your relative or a dignitary from a forgien land wants to send you a large amount of money and request your banking information.
